UH-18SP Fly On, Fly Off Trailer Modifications
At first we thought rain x would work to keep the windsheild clear for us, but under about 45mph the water doesn't bead off, plus when some grass clippings would blow up onto the wet windsheild rain x didn't do much good either. Then we were planning on just putting a hand operated windshield wiper on the hovercraft but after using it a few times we decided we needed an electric one. So we got this out of the back window of an 1987 Dodge Caravan. The red lighted switch on the right is the one I added for the windsheild wiper.
Here you can see how we mounted the windsheild wiper motor. We just ran an aluminium support between the winsheild frame and bolted the motor to that, nothing fancy just simple..
