Giving Rides in our UH-18SP on the IL River

On Sept. the 28 we gave a bunch of rides to our friends and family, you know to show them that we really aren't crazy and the hovercraft really does work LOL. We are at the Mendinhal (SP??) boat ramp just past Bartonville and just before Pekin on the IL river. We put about another 2 hours of hovering time doing laps around that part of the river, I probably gave 40 or more rides. Also my dad drove it for the first time and he did good, well atleast untill we came in for the landing. He came in a little to fast and we were sliding across the beach at about 25MPH but he stopped just before we got back to the water (about 1" LOL) If he would have keep going then everyone would have thought that he did it on purpose. LOL

Here are a couple of pictures of the river

Here is the 18sp on the beach

Here I am hovering off of the beach with a couple passengers.

And there we go.

The rest of these pictures were taken by a guy my dad works with.

Here is the 18sp waiting to be unloaded.

Now its unloaded and sitting in the parking lot.

Here is a picture of the 1st time it hit the IL river
